Youth Leaders' Summit Postponed

YOUTH LEADERS' SUMMIT POSTPONEMENT

Our leadership event scheduled for March 26th titled "Refocusing Nigerian Youths Leadership Summit: Call For Action" has unfortunately been postponed from March 26th to a new date of April 16th.

We learnt late last night sadly, that there will be a trade union demonstration on the streets of London against the British government's deep cuts, on the same day of March 26th!

This means many of the roads into the West End will be cordoned of, and transportation will be greatly disrupted! As you may be aware The Nigeria High Commission is situated near the Embankment and Trafalgar Square, both in the heart of the proposed demonstration area.

Not wanting to risk a poor turn out, safety of our invited leaders, and because of the high importance, level of work and planning that has already gone into the preparations for the event, we took the decision to postpone it to a new date of April 16th.
